Integrations

BridalOp connects to popular email marketing and CRM platforms so your customer data flows automatically into the tools you already use. When a customer is added or updated in BridalOp, their contact information and tags are synced to your connected platform in the background.

Enabling an Integration

All integrations are gated by modules. Before you can configure an integration, you need to enable it:

  1. Go to the Modules settings page
  2. Find the integration you want to use
  3. Toggle it on
  4. Click Configure to open the integration settings page

Once enabled, the integration appears under Settings > Integrations.

Available Integrations

  • Mailchimp — sync customers to a Mailchimp audience with native tag support
  • MailerLite — sync customers to a MailerLite group with custom fields
  • Flodesk — sync customers to a Flodesk segment
  • FluentCRM — sync customers directly to your WordPress site running FluentCRM

How Syncing Works

All integrations work the same way at a high level:

Automatic Sync

When a customer is created or updated in BridalOp, their information is automatically pushed to your connected integration within seconds. Sync is triggered on changes to:

  • Email, first name, last name, phone
  • Wedding date, event type, source
  • Location, marketing opt-in

Requirements

For a customer to be synced, they must have:

  • An email address on file
  • Marketing opt-in set to true (set on the customer profile)

Customers without marketing opt-in are never pushed to external platforms.

Tags Sent With Every Customer

BridalOp automatically tags each customer with helpful segments you can use in your marketing campaigns:

TagExampleMeaning
bridalopbridalopEvery BridalOp customer
location:{slug}location:champagne-taste-bridalWhich boutique location
event:{event_type}event:weddingEvent type (wedding, prom, etc.)
source:{source}source:referralHow they found you
wedding-{year}wedding-2026Year of their wedding (if set)

How these tags are handled depends on the integration — Mailchimp and FluentCRM use them as native tags, while MailerLite and Flodesk convert them into custom fields.

Sync Direction

All integrations are one-way — data flows from BridalOp to your email marketing platform. Changes made in Mailchimp, MailerLite, Flodesk, or FluentCRM do not sync back to BridalOp.

Connection Status

Each integration shows its current status:

  • Connected — ready and syncing
  • Not Connected — not yet configured
  • Error — most recent sync failed (error message shown)

Connected integrations also show Last sync time so you know when data was last pushed.

Test Sync

After connecting, click Send test contact to push your most recent opted-in customer to the integration as a smoke test. This is a great way to confirm everything is working before going live.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect to stop syncing. Disconnecting clears your credentials but does not delete any contacts that have already been synced to the external platform.
