Quotes Settings
Defaults applied to every new Quote. Configure them under Settings > Quotes.

| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Default Expiration Days | Number of days from creation that new quotes expire by default. Per-quote override on the create form always wins. Leave at 0 (or blank) to default to no expiry. |
| Default Customer Notes | Boilerplate text pre-filled into the Customer Notes field of every new quote. Useful for return policy language, deposit expectations, or "this estimate is subject to fabric availability"-style boilerplate that should be on every quote. |
These defaults apply at quote-creation time only — changing them later doesn't update existing quotes.
